      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. place onion and garlic in bowl and chop 3sec/sp5
    scrape sids down
    Add oil and saute 3m/120/sp1
  2. Add carrots and tomato to bowl and chop 5s/sp5
  3. Add water stock paste and desired spices to bowl
    ( I like 1/2 tsp basil & cardamom, 1/4 tsp coriander,ginger &parsley)
    Cook for 20m/100°/sp1
  4. Puree - slowly increasing speed from 4-9
