      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.

    Line a large slice tray with baking paper.

    Add all ingredients to the mixing bowl.

    Mix 10 seconds, speed 5.

    Scrape down.

    Mix another 10 secs, speed 5.

    Pour into the lined tray and cook 40 to 50 mins. It should be firm on top and pull away slightly from the baking sheet when done.

    Cut when completely cool.

Tip

The brownies can be dusted with icing sugar, and/or served with cream and berry coulis (berries cooked with lemon juice and sugar) to make a simple dessert.

This recipe makes 16-20 large portions suitable for dessert.
