Almond butter

  • 450-500g raw almonds
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Spread almonds onto a baking try and bake for 10min at 180 C
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes then transfer to the TM Closed lid
    Process for 2-2&1/2 min, Sp 10, stopping to scrape down the sides every 30 seconds. If the bowl gets too hot stop and let it cool down for a few minutes before continuing
  3. Once you have a smooth paste blend for 30s, Sp 6. Scrape down again.
  4. Add the salt, cinnamon and vanilla and blend for another 30s, Sp6.
  5. Decant into sterilised jars and store in the fridge.
