Asparagus Dip

Dip Ingredients

  • 340 grams Canned Asparagus Spears
  • 250 grams cream cheese, at room temp
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 heaped tablespoons Mayonaise
  • 1 pinch salt & peper, to taste

Recipe's preparation

    To make the dip:
  1. Open the canned asparagus and drain well.

    Get the cream cheese out of the fridge, to bring to room temperature.

    Peel a clove of garlic and chop for 3 sec/speed 7. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

    Add all the other ingredients and whizz up for 10 sec/speed 6.

    Scrape down the sides of the bowl and put it on for another 10 sec/speed 6 if desired - gets to a finer consistency.

    Serve with chips, antipasto platter or use as a spread.

Tip

It is an easy option to a guacamole type dip. It is a mild dip so you could easyily add spices.

    Nice taste. Be careful when you buy tinned asparagus as 1 X 425gm can of Edgell Asparagus only had 200gms of asparagus after water was drained.

    i think small pieces of bread dipped in here would suit. I didn't think it went well with biscuits but that could be me.
