      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1- Add all ingredients EXCEPT Coconut Cream to the bowl.

    2-Mix 3 Seconds- Speed 7

3-Scrape bottom of bowl with spatula

    4- Add Coconut Cream

    5- Cook 7 minuets, 90°, speed 3.
  2. Portion size depends on what you are using it for.

I generally divide to 4 portions.

    Makes a great dipping sauce.

Sauce is quite thick, so if you would like to make a curry, I suggest adding more coconut cream or milk.

Homemade peanut butter works best, bought seems to leave a funny texture. I Use the recipe from the BC.

If using bought curry paste I suggest volcom brand.

I made this last night. It was quite nice. I accidentally added way more sugar than i needed but was still nice. Quite an authentic sauce.

Def will be adding this as my staple. I also added the coconut cream in right from the start too. Just plonked it all in and cooked.
    Does thicken as it cools.

Used home made peanut butter and red curry paste. Perfect.
