      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    1.2kg Red capsicum
  1. Chop 1.2kg capsicum roughly and deseed, place in bowl,Closed lid chop for 3-5 seconds speed 7 with the aid of the spatula.
  2. 1/2 cup white vinegar
    1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar
    75g sweet chilli sauce
    1/2 teaspoon himalayan or celtic sea salt.
    200g raw sugar
  3. Add remaining ingredientsClosed lid. Add splatter guard or steaming basket instead of MC and cook 55 minutes Varoma temp, speed 2.5 in reverseCounter-clockwise operation. If you like it smoother you can blend for 10 seconds speed 8 with the MC on.
    Place in hot jars and seal with lid. Keeps well, refrigerate once opened.

    I love this recipe. I made it back in April 2023 and 4x the recipe again today. It's a great recipe to use up extra capsicums without also needing the usual onions apples etc
