For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Peel apples, onions, cucumber.
Chop 3 sec sp 5, scrape down sides.
Add sugar, salt, curry powder and vinegar.
Cook 30 mins, 100 sp 2.
Mix flour and vinegar in small bowl and add to mixture and cook 15min 100, sp 1 reverse till thickened.
While hot put into sterilised jars.

Tip
Use in sandwiches on crackers or cheeseboard. Make into dip with cream cheese.

Lovely thank you. It was runny at first but did thicken as it cools. It has a sharp taste which will be lovely with cheese or on a sandwich with salad
