Caramelised onion and mushroom sauce

  • 200 grams White or red onion
  • 20 grams oil of choice
  • 200 grams Swiss Brown Mushrooms
  • 25 grams Plain flour or plain gluten free flour
  • 200 grams water
  • 25 grams Vegetable stock paste
  • 10 grams soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 level tsp salt

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. This recipe is only suitable to the TM6. Follow this recipe on Cookidoo (Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo®: Caramelised Onions (200 g) https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r49110tmrc_emoticons.8) and cook the onion for 10 minutes, then exit out and follow from here.
    Quarter the mushrooms and add them to the onion in the mixing bowl. Cook for 10 minutes, 90 degrees, speed 1. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes, 90 degrees speed 2, reverse. Add the water, stock, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, 90 degrees, speed 1, reverse. Enjoy 😍
