      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Cut fig in 4 pieces and place in Closed lid.

    2. Add sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice.

    3. Gentle stir setting for 20 minutes/veroma/speed 2. Place simmer basket on top of TM in place of MC.

    4. Add cocoa

    5. Gentle stir setting for 1 minute, working up to speed 10 over the minute.

    6. Pour in to jars, place lids on. Tip upside down to seal straight away.
