  • 220 grams sunflower seeds
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch chives, 3 cm lengths
  • 4 - 6 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 60 grams olive oil
  • 180 grams water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill sunflower seeds with 1 - 2 teaspon salt at speed 7 - 8 for 8 - 10 seconds.  Set aside.

    2. Mill garlic & 1 bunch chives (3cm lengths) speed 5 - 6 for 5 - 8 seconds.  Clean down sides of machine.

    3. Combine seed mix with garlic in Thermomix.

    4. Add lemon juice then add either a) olive oil & water or b) grapessed oil & water.  Combine on speed 4.

    Serve with biscuits or use as a dressing and simply add more oil or lemon juice.

    Yum. I did the grape seed and water option but think I will either use less water or none at all next time as mine is a bit watery for a dip.
