Mel's Sweet Potato Dip

3 Small Sweet Potatoes

  • 3 Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 chilli, remove the seeds
  • 1 ginger, Small Knob
  • 1 --- coriander, Small Handful
  • 150 g raw cashews
  • drop olive oil
  • 1/2 Lime Juice (approx. ½ lime)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Chop 3 Sweet Potatoes into Small pieces and place into simmering basket.

    2. Steam for 20mins, Varoma, Sp 2

    3. Set aside steaming basker, emtpy water out of jug

    4. Add 1 small chilli, small knob of ginger and small handful of coriander into mixing bowl - Chop 4 seconds, sp 7

    5. Add Sweet Potato, 150g raw cashews, drizzle of olive oil and juice of 1/2 a lime, 1 tablesspoon of water. Blend sp 5 for 10 seconds, scrape down sides of bowl, blend for another 5-10 seconds until consistency you like.
