      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add Butterfly Whisk to the Bowl 

  2. Add sugar and eggs and whisk 10sec/speed4

  3. Add remaining ingredients in order of the ingredients list.

    Mix 7min/90degrees/Speed 3

  4. Add additional time to achieve desired consistency

    (should resemble runny custard)

This recipe was converted from a recipe my grandmother used. We have it with Christmas Ham. Works especially well with pork.

    Good consistency, easy to make. Far too sweet for my liking, would cut sugar by half next time.
