  • 140 grams hot water
  • 395 grams condensed milk
  • 80 grams brown sugar
  • 40 grams honey
  • 80 grams golden syrup
  • 10 grams vanilla extract

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except vanilla into Thermomix bowl
    Cook 10 mins Varoma temperature Speed 3 or 3.5
    Cook 2-5 minutes longer if want it thicker
    Cool a little add vanilla and Stir Speed 4
    Place in sterilised bottles and store in refrigerator
    Can thin with milk or cream if desired

    Double quanity use Speed 3.5 to prevent boiling over.
