"Notella" Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

  • 120 g Hazelnuts (skin off)
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 10 g vanilla bean paste/extract
  • 1 tablespoon Rice malt syrup
  • 10 g macadamia oil
  • 40 g coconut milk
  • 30 g honey
  • 30 g Butter, coconut oil if dairy free

Recipe's preparation

  1. -place hazelnuts on roasting tray and roast on 180 degrees for 10 minutes

    - if you can not get skinless hazelnuts, skin them now by rubbing together in a tea towel

    - place roasted hazelnuts in mixing bowl and mill 10 seconds, speed 10 (this will give you a smooth texture. you can skip this step if preffered)

    - add remaining ingredients and blend on speed 7 until smooth. This may take a couple of goes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as you go.
