Nushi's Thai Basil and Spinach Pesto

  • 3-4 sprigs thai basil, leaves removed from stem
  • 150 g Baby Spinach Leaves
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup pinenuts
  • 40 g olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Here's how to make the magic happen..........
  1. If your cheese isn't grated, grate it now, 10 sec/Sp 8.


  2. Add remaining ingredients to the TM bowl. 


    Turbo a few times until desired consistency is reached.  Scrape down sides and repeat if neccessary.
