      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Spread peanuts on baking tray, bake I oven 150c for 10-15 mins. Take out and allow to cool on tray, repeat bake nuts 150c for 10 mins ( longer you bake darker your butter) allow to cool. 

    add nuts to tm bowl blitz speed 7-9 for 1-2 mins until consistency you like. Store in sealed container. Makes approx 750gm. Longer you blitz more oils released. Consistency runnier that store bought, can be stored in cupboard or fridge.

Tip

Once using peanut butter, once about half way through tub just give a mix before use as bottom amount can be a bit dry, as all oils have been removed with each serve.
