- 2 onions, brown, medium size
- 1 ginger, whole one
- 1 garlic, one bulb
- 1 jar Peanut Butter, crunchy, 780 gram
- 1 bottle Ketchup manis, 240 ml
- 2 teaspoons Brown Sugar.
- 20 grams Butter
- 1 teaspoon Sambal Olek
- 1 level tablespoon Lemon Juice.

Peel onions and chop into halfs
Peel the whole bulb of Garlic and Ginger
Place onions,Ginger and all Garlic into thermomix, place lid and MC
Chop for 4 sec/speed 8 (hold onto MC)
Add 20 grams Butter to thermomix place lid and MC saute for 5 mins/100c/REV/soft spoon
Add 800 ml water to thermomix
Add 1 tsp sambal, 2 tbls ketchup manis and 2 tsp of brown sugar to thermomix.
place lid and mc onto thermomix and cook for 10 mins/varoma/REV/speed 3
Add rest of the bottle of ketchup manis, 1 tbls of lemon juice and the whole jar of peanut butter to thermomix
cook for 10 mins/100c/REV/soft spoon
Accessories you need
If you want the sate sauce smoother then use 780 gram of smooth peanut butter
If you want it with more of a kick u can add and extra 1 to 2 tsp of sambal
if you want it thicker u can add 2 extra tbls spoons of peanut butter
