  • 30 grams Butter
  • 300 grams baby spinach, Steamed in Varoma for 7 mins and drained, or frozen pack thawed
  • 200 grams jar marinated artichoke hearts
  • 50 grams Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 250 grams cream cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chopped Chives to Garnish

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.  Add butter, artichokes and spinach to bowl.                                 Saute 5min/100*/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 2

     

    2.  Add grated paremsan cheese and season with salt and pepper stir 10 sec/speed 2

     

    3. Add cream cheese blend 5-10sec/speed 7 pending on consistancy you would like.

     

    4. Garnish with fresh chopped chives

     

    5. Serve immediately if would like warm  or place in refigerator to cool

Tip

If using Varoma to baby steam spinach, just steam for               7 mins/Varoma/speed 1, then place spinach in simmering basket and with spatuar squeze out excess liquid.
