Carrot Fritters

Carrot, onion, chilli, garlic, chick peas, eggs, yoghurt, oil for frying

  • 1 --- carrot, Large1
  • 1 green onion, Can use shallot 1
  • 1 chilli, Seeded
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 150 grams chick peas, Dry
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 grams yoghurt, Full cream
  • oil, For frying

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place 1/2 cup chick peas in bowl, mill on 8 for 10 seconds or until fine. Set aside. 

  2. Carrots and onions
  3. Choose one nice green onions or shallots, cut in to 1/2s 1 Clive of garlic, chop 3sec on speed 4.  Add a chilli to Your personal taste, Add 1 washed and dried carrot chop 3secs on speed 4. 

  4. Making Batter
  5. With all above ingredients in bowl, add 2 eggs, yoghurt and lastly the milled chick peas. Mix well speed 4 for approx 40 secs or until all ingredients are well incorporated. 

  6. Cooking
  7. Heat 1tablespoon of butter or ghee plus 1 tablespoon oil on medium high in a good frypan. Place batter in hot oil to cook. NOTE do not make them too thick, make as for pancakes.
