If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1) Pour 500g of water bring to boil, 5m/120c/sp3
2) Pour Beef, Rice & carrots into hot water, 5m/120c/"Counter-clockwise operation" /sp1, set aside drain
3) In a clean "Closed lid" , add oil and ginger bring to saute 3m/120c/"Counter-clockwise operation" sp1, pour (2) into "Closed lid"
4) Add tomato, Onion, Sugar, water, beer and spring onion; cook 35m/100c/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting"
