Best Ever Pumpkin Soup (Variation)
- 1 brown onion, peeled, quartered
- 20 grams olive oil
- 650 grams pumpkin, peeled, roughly chopped
- 450 grams carrots, scrubbed, roughly chopped
- 2 potatoes, peeled, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegatable stock paste
- 800 grams water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- salt

Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl! -

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion to bowl, chop 5 sec/speed 5.
Scrape down sides of the bowl, add olive oil and cook for 6 min/varoma temp/speed 1
Add pumpkin, carrots and potato to the bowl.
Add water & stock. Cook for 20 min/speed 1/reverse/ 100 deg.
Make sure vegatables are very soft (if not cook for another 5 min) and then blend 1 min/speed 5 gradually increasing to speed 9.
Serve.
