Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Place all creamed corn ingredients into the mixing bowl and cook for 8 minutes/90 degrees/speed 3.
Set aside in a bowl.
Clean and dry mixing bowl.
Place ginger into mixing bowl and chop for 4 seconds/speed 7. Scrape down sides of bowl.
Place onion and olive oil into bowl and chop for 5 seconds/speed 5. Scrape down sides of bowl and saute for 3 minutes/100 degrees/speed 1.
Add reserved creamed corn, chicken, stock paste, soy sauce and water. Cook for 13 minutes/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 2.
Add peas and shallots to mixing bowl and cook for 2 minutes/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 2.
Set timer to 1 minute/100 degrees/speed 2. Tip egg into mixing bowl through the hole in the lid, hit "Counter-clockwise operation" so that the egg splits through the soup.
Serve with freshly cracked pepper.

Fantastic recipe, thanks for sharing! I used garlic powder as I didn’t have any fresh, tinned creamed corn and blended for 50sec prior to adding peas and shallots. Amazing!
