For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Recipe's preparation
- Place garlic, onion and sweet potato in "Closed lid"
Chop for 4 sec speed 5
Weigh in corn to "Closed lid"
Transfer and set aside.
Place water into "Closed lid"
Insert simmering basket and place chicken carcass in.
Cook 50min Varoma speed 2
Remove the simmering basket with your spatula
Discard bones
add cut vegetables and Cooked chicken meat salt and pepper to"Closed lid"
Cook for 10min 100C speed 4 "Counter-clockwise operation"
Serve hot and garnish with parsley.
