Chunky Beef Bacon & Potato Soup
- 500 g diced beef
- 200 g Diced bacon
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 500 g Potato's
- 2 tablespoon stock, EDC
- 25 g olive oil
- 500 g water
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
Recipe's preparation
10g olive oil, beef, bacon and 5mins/varoma//speed 2
Remove from bowl and set aside
Using unwashed bowl, add garlic, onion, 15g olive oil 3mins/varoma/speed 2
Add potato chop 7 secs/speed 7
Scrape down sides of bowl
Add stock, water 10mins/100degrees/speed 2
Add beef, bacon, salt, pepper 10mins/100degrees/speed 2
Serve with fresh bread rolls.

I agree with a couple of other comments, needs something else. I used vegetable stock so think next time I'll use a beef stock instead
I made this with what I could
I made this with what I could scrape together from the fridge ... Didn't have quite enough beef or potato so i made cauliflower "rice" and steamed in varoma for the last 15 minutes of making the soup. I added it to the soup at the end and it tasted awesome . Even got a thumbs up from my fussy three year old!
It's okay but I don't think
It's okay but I don't think I'll make it again. I think it really needs a decent cut of beef to cook nicely in the short time and I'd rather spend money on good steak to fry rather than use in soup IYKWIM? A bit of cream in your bowl is nice.
