Creamy Chilli Pumpkin Soup

  • 40 gram onion, Peeled
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 red chilli
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 400 grams pumpkin, Cubed
  • 15 grams chicken stock
  • 1000 grams water
  • Few dashes black pepper

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion, garlic and chilli into Closed lid and chop (Mc/5sec/Sp. 5)

  2. Sauté with Oil (Mc/2 min/V/sp.2)

  3. Add pumpkin and chicken stock into Closed lid and sauté (MC/2min/V/Speed 2)

  4. Add water into Closed lid (MC/20 min/V/Sp. 1)

  5. Blend to creamy texture (mc/10 secs/Speed 10). Serve with chopped parsley and pepper. Can add a dash of cream for extra creamy soup.
