- 30g onion (approx 1/2 medium)
- 350g water
- 1 chicket fillet (approx 350g)
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable stock paste
- 840g Creamed Corn (2 cans)
- 420g sweet corn kernels (1 can - drained)
- 1 spring onion (thinly sliced), allow some for garnishing
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- salt and peper to taste

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Place garlic and onion in TM bowl. Chop 5 secs / speed 7
2. Add oil to TM bowl. Saute 2 mins / 100C /speed 1
3. Place whole chicken, water and vegetable stock paste into TM bowl. Cook 10 mins / Varoma / speed 2
4. Shred chicken fillet in TM bowl 5 secs / speed 7, insert measuring cup
5. Add spring onion, creamed corn, corn kernels into TM bowl. Cook 5 mins / Varoma / "Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 2
6. While this is cooking, slowly add egg through TM bowl lid.
7. Adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with left over spring onion. Serve hot.

Thicker soup: Add another can of creamed corn (420g) and proceed as per recipe.
