If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- [size= 12px; background-color: #ffffff]chop onion and pumpkin (leave the skin on) 5secs/sp7[/size]
- add water, Curry powder, stock and cook 12mins/varoma/sp1 with the steaming basket on the lid
- puree pumpkin 1min/sp9 and set aside in thermoserver
- don't rinse bowl, add milk, butter, flour, salt and pepper. Cook 5mins/90°/sp4
- add pureed pumpkin and mix 10secs/sp6
