  • 350g chicken breast meat
  • 1tsp ground star anise
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 100g gluten free oats, ground
  • 1lg egg
  • 100g fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1 salt and pepper to season

cherry dipping sauce

  • 50g shallots, peeled
  • 2 garlic
  • 20g light soy
  • 20g Coconut Aminos, or honey
  • 1tsp sesame oil
  • 100g Cherries pitted

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    meat balls
  1. first grind 25g star anise its more than you need but grinds better if you put more (save in glass jar for later recipes)grind 1min /speed10 scrape down set aside do not clean bowl

    add oats and grind/5secs/speed7 set aside do not clean bowl

    add diced chicken and turbo 2secs check all chopped set aside do not clean bowl

     

     

    add shallots and garlic chop 3secs/speed 7 scrape down add sesame oil and cook 3mins/120/speed2 

     then add oats/egg/allspice/cherries and mix on rev/speed4 for approx 4 seconds till combined

    i used melon baller to make size just pop on tray then using wet hands roll into shape

    i fried in little olive oil until golden

     

     

     

     

     

  2. cherry sauce
  3. chop shallots and garlic 3secs speed 7 scrape down add sesame oil and cook 3min/120 /speed2

    add cherries /soy and coconut aminos and cook for further 5mins /100/speed 2

    swerve with meatballs
