Ingredients

  • 80 grams Butter, melted in TM
  • 3/4 package Marie biscuts, crushed to powder in TM
  • 4 --- eggs
  • 2 packages cream cheese, 250 gm packet/tub
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 100 grams sugar, processed until fine in TM
  • 100 grams sour cream

Recipe's preparation

  1. To make base, combine melted butter and crumb in TM, mix until combined and press into ungreased 20 cm spring form pan. Chill for 1/2 hour in fridge.

    Combine remaining ingredients for 2-3 mins, sp 5, until smooth and creamy. Pour into prepared pan.

    To prepare pan, place pan on a sheet of foil, and fold up around edges of pan. Place uncooked cheesecake in preheated waterbath, and bake 180 C oven for 50-60 mins, or until lightly brown on surface. Remove from oven and water bath, let cool in springform pan. Remove and chill until 1/2 hour before serving, serve with whipped cream, fruit, etc. 

  2. Leave to cool in pan after removing from the water bath

    Yummy! Plus I added spoonfuls of a failed fudge (it didn't set firm, but tasted great) into the the tin with the mix and ended up with a delicious gooey fudge base. Big hit

    Opps, sorry about that, it;s @ 80 gms butter for the base, and the cream cheese is 250gm packets.
