If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180c.

Line a small (15cm square or similar) baking dish with paper, grease paper with a little oil.

  2. Place vegetables in mixing bowl and chop 20 sec/Sp 4.  Adjust this time if your baby needs smaller pieces or is ready for bigger pieces.

  3. Add olive oil to vegetables and sauté 6 min/100c/Sp 2 reverse Counter-clockwise operation.

  4. Add eggs and flour, mix 20 sec/Sp 4 reverse Counter-clockwise operation

  5. Pour mixture into lined baking dish, bake for 25min or until centre of frittata is quite firm.

  6. Remove frittata from dish to cool.  Once cool, cut into thick fingers or smaller pieces to serve.

The first time I made this, I really ruined it! I put the eggs in at the wrong step and forgot to add the flour and my 17 month old hated it.
Today I followed the recipe properly and my little one loves it! I put it in a frittata dish, with baking paper, which made it very easy to lift and separate.
Have frozen a few portions, so will be interesting how it goes with defrosting and reheating.

Does anyone know how long this keeps in the fridge?

Great basic adaptable recipe. I used about 420g vege. Sweet potato, broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower. Also added in some cream as I had some I needed to use up and added some grated Parmesan cheese on top. My twins loved it!

Really nice and easy recipe, I used 1 fresh corn, 2 carrots, small onion, 1 mushroom and some frozen peas to make up the quantity of veg. I also did mini cupcakes and baked 15mins. My 9mth old baby also loved these, i just had to brake them up a little when eating.
