  • I have PCOS and am cutting

I have PCOS and am cutting out wheat and grains.  I have been wating something that resembles a cracker for dips and snacks.   These have become a new staple for an afternoon snack, I cook them for about 45mins to make them nice and crispy.  They have great flavour, texture and are very simple to make.  I didn't have any pepitas so substitued with almonds, love the roasted almond flavour that it gives.  Thank you for the recipe.

  • The taste on these crackers

    Submitted by olismommy on 27. October 2014 - 11:20.

The taste on these crackers was so yum! I did sprinkle with sesame like your photo which was a nice touch. I also sprinkle a bit of garlic salt on top because I love garlic!

I did find it a bit challanging to spread the batter evenly across the generously oiled baking paper, using my fingers helped. I also found them to be slightly bready where my batter wasn't thin enough. I think this is one of those recipies that with some practice, they could be perfect tmrc_emoticons.-) But really, the flavor is super yum!

    Thanks for sharing!

These look great and I just happen to have everything in my pantry! Wondering how long they keep for or if they should be made just before serving? Many thanks tmrc_emoticons.)
