      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. Place carrots into TM bowl. Chop 6 seconds speed 5 until evenly grated.  Set aside,

     

    Place dates and crystalised ginger into TM bowl, and chop 10 secs, speed 7 until finely chopped. Scrape down sides of bowl. Chop 4 seconds speed 7.

     

    Scrape down sides of bowl. Add carrots, almond meal, and 185 gms desiccated coconut.  10 secs Counter-clockwise operation 2.5.  Scrape down sides of bowl.  Repeat 10 secs Counter-clockwise operation 2.5.

     

    To Assemble

     

    Roll and squeeze into tablespoon balls and roll in remaining coconut.

     

    Store in Fridge.
