      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Grease a quiche dish liberally with butter.

Add cheese to TM bowl and blitz for 10 seconds on speed 9.  Set aside.

Add bacon to TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds, speed 5.

Add eggs, cream, grated cheese, salt and pepper to the TM bowl and mix for 10 seconds, speed 3.

Pour mixture into greased quiche dish and bake for 30-35 mintues until golden brown on top.

    Serve and enjoy tmrc_emoticons.)

We loved this recipe, added in onion with the bacon & sauted with a knob of butter for 4mins before adding the other ingredients. Also added some chopped chives & once I poured it into the buttered dish I then added shredded spinach. It did need a bit longer to cook but was worth the wait! My husband went back for seconds & didn’t add the tomatoe sauce like he usually does when eating quiche😀

This a quick and easy recipe. I made small individual quiches so I cut the bacon and put it in the muffin tray then mixed everything else in the tmx it's easier to pour.

  • Made this for dinner tonight.

Submitted by Thermified For Life on 6. October 2016 - 18:39.

Made this for dinner tonight. Omgoodness it was delicious and so simple! My family devoured it in minutes!

I added leek and baby spinach. I would've added cherry tomatoes and broccoli if I had them. I love recipes that provide a good basis but that you can add basically anything too.

This recipe would make a great dinner or could be frozen for lunches with salad or breakfast on the run.
