      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1)   Preheat oven to 160C

    2)   Line a baking sheet (or 2) with baking paper

    3)   Plce butter and syrup into Tm Bowl and melt 2min/60C/Speed 2

    4)   Add baking powder mix 8seconds/Speed3

    5)   Scrap down sides then Add all remaining ingredients and mix 15seconds/speed4/Reverse blade

    6)   It didnt mix totally so i gave it a mix with the spatula. Use a tablespoon and scoop out into your hand

    7)   Roll it into a ball and place on baking paper leaving 5cm apart

tmrc_emoticons.8)   Push each ball down firmly with a fork to flatten

    9) Bake for 16 minutes. It really depends how you like your cookie. If you like them crunchy like me i would go to 18 minutes but my kids like them chewy so we did these for 16 minutes

**If you want to jazz them up you can add raisins, cranberried or even chocolate chips. They freeze really well.
