  • 1 green apple, cored
  • 65 grams coconut oil
  • 60 grams full cream milk
  • 40 grams Maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 110 grams Wholemeal SR Flour
  • 40 grams rolled oats
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 Peeled thinly sliced apple slices, for topping

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.  Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced. 

     

    2.  Grate apple for 3 seconds, speed 8.  Scrape down bowl.

     

    3.  Add liquids.  Mix on speed 5 for 3 seconds.

     

    4.  Add flour, oats and cinnamon for 5 seconds speed 5.

     

    5.  Spoon into muffin tins and top each with the thinly sliced apple ring.  Bake at 180 degrees fan forced for 20 - 25 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.

    Really liked these healthy muffins!  We added sultanas too and a little cinnamon sugar to the top and they were delish.  Thanks for the recipe.
