- 115 g Butter
- 115 g white sugar
- 150 g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 180 g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 100 g chocolate chip
- 100 g M&Ms

- Add butter, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt to the mixing bowl. Mix 30 secs / speed 5.
- Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl with the spatula. Add chocolate chips and M&M's to the mixing bowl. Mix 20 secs / reverse blades / speed 3.
- Chill mixture in fridge for 15 minutes. Scoop mixture into balls (approx 2 Tbs) and place on a tray. Refridgerate again for 30-45 minutes.
- Near the end of the chilling time, preheat the oven to 160°C.
Bake cookies for 12 - 15 mins. Leave to cool on try for 15 mins before transferring to a cooling rack.
Tip
Chilling the mixture is essential to stop the cookies spreading and to ensure correct texture.
The cookies should be slightly crunchy around the edges but still a bit soft in the middle as they'll continue to harden while cooling.
