      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.  Pre heat oven to 175 C and grease/line a slice tin ready to go. 

    2.  Add butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla essence to the Thermomix and mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds. 

    3.  Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and coconut. Mix Counter-clockwise operation speed 3 for 10 seconds (repeat if necessary). 

    4.  Pour into tin & cover with extra coconut.

    5.  Bake 25-30 minutes (don't overcook). Cool then cut into pieces.
