    Chocolate cake
  1. Put all ingredients in TM bowl and mix for 20 seconds on speed 7

    Pour into 25cm cake tin lined with baking paper

    Bake in fan forced oven 180-200C for 35-40 mins

    I made this for my daughter's birthday cake and it was delicious. I made mine dairy free using a dairy free spread and oat milk. This will be my go to chocolate cake recipe now.

    So easy to make, beautiful flavour and moist. I made into 2 smaller cakes and sandwiched together with chocolate ganache - it was heavenly!

    Purplerain:did you use the Winton teddy bear cake tin? I have to make a cake for my granddaughter and I already have that tin. The mousse chic icing sounds yum too!!

    Great cake!
    I have made this cake before, to the great joy of my family. I made large cupcakes for a morning tea and baked them on 160 degrees for 20 mins on the top shelf. Delicious!!

    I totally left out the coffee part and did not substitute anything and the cake was delicious.

    followed the recipe however left out the coffee.  Was very crunchy on the outside and moist in the middle.  Delicious.
