Brownies

  • 180 g Butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 g plain flour
  • 50 g cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Recipe's preparation

    Brownies
  1. Pre-heat oven to 170-180C fan forced.

    Grease a brownie tray or 20cm square cake pan.

    Place butter, sugar & vanilla into TM bowl.  Cook for 3-6 mins at 60 on Speed 1.  Depending on room temperature of butter will determine time to melt butter.

    Insert Butterfly.  With the blades turning add eggs one at a time to whisk on speed 3-4 for up to 1 min.

    Add flour, cocoa, baking powder & salt.  Mix for 20 seconds on speed 5.  Scrape down sides of bowl and mix for a further 5 seconds on speed 5.

    Bake for 30-35 mins or until brownies begin to pull away from the edge of the pan.

    Hi quick question, you have insert butterfly, but no remove butterfly, and you go up to speed 5, but the butterfly isn't supposed to go higher than speed 4. Is there a typo? I made it going only at speed 4 and it turned out beautifully.
