      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat over to 180c

    Line a 25cm x 35cm tin with baking paper

    Put toffee pieces ( I used wethers caramels) and white chocolate into bowl and chop 3 secs sp 5 and set aside

    without cleaning the bowl put butter, sugar and vanilla and beat for 30 secs speed 4, scrape down and repeat.

    With blades running at speed 4 add eggs separately about 20secs

    Gradually add flour, salt and baking powder thru the hole mixing sp3 30-60secs, scrape down and repeat if needed.

    Add set aside chocoate and toffee and mix sp 3Counter-clockwise operation30 secs, scrape down and repeat if needed. I found it hard to mix so used spatula a bit

    spoon mixture into tin and bake for 35mins until golden brown

    waiting til cool to cut as it holds better
