Caramel Fudge Brownie

Ingredients

Brownie

  • 200 grams Dark cooking chocolate, broken into cubes
  • 200 grams Butter, chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 270 grams caster suger
  • 115 grams plain flour
  • 35 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 package Arnott's Caramel Crowns
  • vanilla ice-cream, to serve

Hot Fudge Sauce

  • 200 grams Dark cooking chocolate, broken into cubes
  • 250 grams thickened cream

Recipe's preparation

    Brownie
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Brush a slice pan with butter and line with baking paper, allowing the sides to overhang. 

  2. Place the cubes of chocolate in the bowl and chop on speed 7 for 10 sec. Add the butter and mix on 50 degrees for 3 min on speed 3 time melted and mixed. 

  3. With bowl mixing on speed 3, add in 3 eggs and add in 2 egg yolks. Add sugar, flour and cocoa powder and mix on speed 7 for 30 sec. 

  4. Pour half the mixture into the lined pan. Place the biscuits on the top of the mixture, spacing evenly and pressing down slightly into the mixture. Pour over the remaining chocolate mixture and gently spread to cover the biscuits

  5. Bake for 35 min unitl the crumbs cling to a knif inserted into the centre. Set aside to cool slightly. 

  6. Hot fudge sauce
  7. Place chocolate cubes into bowl and chop on speed 7 for 10 sec. Add cream and mix on 50 degrees on speed 3 for 3 min. 

  8. Cut brownie into pieces. Serve with ice-cream and hot fudge sauce.
