      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    chewy cookie slice
  1. Melt butter in TM bowl, 3min, 60 degrees,  speed 2.

Add vanilla, brown sugar and egg and mix 1min, speed 4.

Add salt, bicarb soda, baking powder And mix 20 secs,  speed 4.

Add flour and mix 1min, speed 4.

    Pour batter into a greased 9 x 9 dish.

Sprinkle desire amount of choc chips over the top of batter.

Bake at 180degrees for approximately 25mins or until golden brown.

You may need to adjust time depending on your oven, and your dish. In a 9x9 dish the batter is only around 1cm thick when poured in and spread out. If your batter is thicker due to a smaller dish, you will need to adjust baking time also.

It should be set, but soft - not gooey.

Let cool in dish for about 10mins then slice into however many portions you wish.

Tip

You can add anything instead of choc chips.

Macadamia and white choc chips works great, or caramel choc chips? Create you own combination

Hubby loved this, I cooked it a little extra so the outside was crunchy and the inside was soft and chewy. Easy, will definitely make again
