Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

Dough

  • 100 g Butter
  • 75 g Demerara sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 175 g Self Raising Flour
  • 100 g chocolate chips or chunks
  • 2 tbsp Milk-

Recipe's preparation

  1. Heat Oven to 180 degrees C,350 degrees F or Gas 5.  Grease or line a baking tray.

  2. Weigh the Butter, Demerara Sugar  into the TM bowl. Mix until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the golden syrup, flour and milk.  Mix slowly until just combined.

  4. Add the chocolate chips and either stir on reverse very gently or tip the whole mix out on to a floured board and knead the chocolate chips into the dough.

  5. Roll the mixture into 12 balls and place on the prepared tray and bake for 8-10 minutes.  Remove from oven and leave to cool.

Tip

This recipe  can easily be doubled to make 24.
