Recipe's preparation

    Chocolate Flake Cake
  1. Pre-heat oven to 150C. Place the almonds into TM Bowl and mill for 4-6 seconds on speed 6. Set aside. Place sugar into TM bowl and make castor sugar by milling for 4 seconds on speed 10. Add butter and mix for 30 seconds on speed 5. Add the eggs and mix for 10 seconds on speed 5. Add the flour and almond meal and mix for 30 seconds on speed 6. Add crumbled flake bars into bowl and incorporate by mixing for 5 seconds on Reverse, speed 1. Place mixture into a 20cm cake tin lightly greased and lined with baking paper. Bake in the pre-heated oven for approximately one hour or until a skewer comes out clean. remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before turning onto cooling rack. if desired, cover with grated chocolate to serve.
