Clone of Apple Tea Cake in a bunt tin

Cake

  • 3 granny smith apples, washed,cored,cut into pieces
  • 1 juice of lemon and rind
  • 250 grams soy milk
  • 50 grams Coconut or Grapeseed Oil
  • 330 grams plain flour
  • 150 grams raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1 teaspoon mix spice

Recipe's preparation

    Cake
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.   Lightly oil and flour bunt cake tin & set aside

  2. Chop apple 3 sec/speed 9.  Add lemon juice, soy milk & oil, mix 10 sec/speed 3

  3. Add remainder of ingredients and mix 25 sec/speed 4

  4. Pour batter into pan, bake until brown & toothpick comes out clean, about 50/55 minutes.  Cool in pan on a wire rack for 20 minutes before Serving.

Tip

If you want to make it pretty you could also bake with sliced apple and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the bottom of the pan before pouring the batter in.

If you prefer to use a square tin, then 45min will be fine.
