Clone of Nana's Delicious Chewy Choc Chip Cookies (with peanut butter)

Ingredients

40 portion(s)

Choc Chip Dough

  • 120 grams Butter
  • 110 grams raw sugar
  • 55 grams brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste or 1 teaspoon Vanilla Esssence
  • 220 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 250 grams Chocolate Chips or 1 packet
  • 80 gram Peanut Butter

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven 170-180 degrees

     

     

     Place butter, peanut butter,  sugar, egg & vanilla in TM bowl – speed 5, 30 sec – should be creamy scrape down

     

     Add flour & chocolate chips – Closed lid Closed lid, Dough mode knead 1 min


    Drop teaspoon size onto baking tray lined with baking paper

    (Leave space between each as they will spread).   

                       

    Bake at 180 degrees for around 10 mins or until golden brown.

     

    Transfer to wire rack, biscuits will harden upon cooling. Makes around 40-50 (depending if kids around whilst baking)

    Tip: Try not too eat too much of the uncooked cookie dough – hard to resist it.

    These are so simple to make and turn out so good every time. It wasn't peanut buttery enough for me so I use half dark chocolate chips and half Reeses Pieces choc chips, yum!

    This is the first batch of cookies I've ever baked that have come out of the oven looking like perfect, shop-bought biscuits! They taste pretty good too. tmrc_emoticons.) Made about 40. The choc chips make it easy, but next time I think I'd use roughly chopped chocolate for bigger chunks of chocolatey goodness.

    I used white chocolate, chopped up, and threw in handful of chia seed. I also only made a 1/2 quantity, which was heaps! Very yummy!

    tmrc_emoticons.)yummy! Didn't have enough peanut butter so used half peanuts and ground with what peanut butter I did have. Turned out well for everyday bikkie and super easy.
