325 g

Cream Cheese Pastry

  • 115 grams Butter, at room temperature
  • 85 grams cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 125 grams plain flour

Recipe's preparation

  1. Weigh ingredients into TMX bowl, mix at speed 5 for between 7 and 10 seconds - stop when you can see it has come together. Take the MC out after 2 or 3 seconds to be able to look into the bowl. 

    Tip out and form into a ball, wrap in cling film and rest in the fridge for an hour. Roll out and use as base and/or top of pies/tarts, bake at 190 degrees C. Smaller items like Christmas Mince pies will cook into 10 to 12 minutes, larger items like bacon and egg pie take up to 40 miniutes. 

    If you want to use the pastry immediately, you can push it into the tart case rather than roll it out.
