Recipe is created for
TM 5
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

1. Pre-heat oven 160 degrees (fan forced) or 180 degrees no fan
2. Place all ingredients into TM5 Bowl
3. Mix for 30 seconds, speed 6
4. Scrape down sides of bowl. Ingredients should be all combined together. If they are not all mixed together mix for a further 5 seconds, speed 6
5. Once all ingredients are mixed together, pour into lined 23cm deep square tin. (I used a rectangular caserole baking dish)
6. Bake in the oven for 1 hour.
7. Check cake with skewer. Sometimes it takes another 5-10 minutes to cook in the middle.
8. Once cool, transfer to a wire rack
9. Sprinkle with icing sugar to decorate - Optional
