- 125 g unsalted butter, (Softened)
- 230 g sugar
- 200 g SR flour
- 85 g plain flour
- 30 g cocoa
- 2 eggs

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 250 g sugar
- 120 g unsalted butter
- 60 g Milk
- 3 tsp cocoa

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Pre-heat oven to 160°C, line round tin (18-20cm) with baking paper and set aside.
- Add milk and bi-carb soda to mixing bowl.
- Add, butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, eggs, vanilla essence & salt to mixing bowl, insert measuring cup & mix 1 min/speed 5.
- Pour mixture into tin.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until skewer inserted into centre comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool before transferring onto serving plate.
- Place white sugar into mixing bowl and mill 20 sec/speed 10.
- Insert butterfly wisk. Add butter, milk, cocoa and mix for 3 min /speed 3.
- Ice Cake when completly cool.
