Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line tray with baking paper
Add chopped butter to bowl, melt for 2 min, 60 deg, speed 2 (increase time if butter is not melted at 2 minute mark)
Add golden syrup, mix for 10 seconds on speed 2
Combine bicarb soda and water then add to butter/golden syrup, mix for 10 seconds on speed 2
Add oats, flour, brown sugar and coconut mix for one minute on "Dough mode"
Roll into balls and bake for 14-18 minutes
The longer you leave the biscuits on the tray the crunchier they will be so for soft cookies move on to a cooling rack or plate once set, for very crunchy cookies let them cool completely on tray.
